Each persons work is unique, these two guys have great talent and a strong set of skills in software that makes their art appear a breed apart. However each piece they do takes months, sometimes even more. How long do most others spend on a particular piece?
I was amazed at how long PMD (Phil McDarby) takes on his work.

Try planning out a project that is bigger than anything you've ever done before, see where that goes.

Willie.. I second what rodsart says.. and also this..
never give up. stay humble and keep working at being better.
their work is amazing.. mind boggling too.. but though we may never be good as them, brycing does make us feel happy.
I feel like I dunno a thing about bryce at times..but then comes along someone who posts a question..and I say..ah.. i can answer that with ease! Or give them suggestions feeling like the wise ol' owl!
go by what the desiderata says.. "never compare yourself with others for there will always be someone greater and lesser than you."
rochr and stonemason and the rest are people we ought to use as our heroes and examples as to where we want to get to in bryce.
Yea those guy are talented, but given the same tools and resources, many of us could produce the same quality, easily. Thier arrt is WHY you should not stop trying :)

Arrrr!
Good work is 1% talent and 99% hard work. Hang in there! I'm sure you will create something awesome that will sit right alongside the rest of the Masters.

And in my final hours - I would cling rather to the tattooed hand of kindness - than the unblemished hand of hate...
These guys are talented, diligent, systematic artists, each with their own style, that often take their time in creating and pay close attention to detail. For instance, Rochr had been working on that scene since September of last year as he mentions in the recent 3D Artist article. They are inspiring and thought provoking. Certainly they are to be commended and emulated. I have these guys down as favorite artists as I do several others and so when they post something I get an ebot heads up delivery. I then start to salivate.

Have you ever felt humbled out of existence? Well, as fate would have it I got ebots from Renderosity that Rochr and Stonemason both uploaded new images. I don't know why I even try when I see their work. You need to see these master's work, Bryce or no.
