Quote - Not the fast checkout line, the self checkout line, you can have as much as you want. I've taken two full carts through.
Female sub seeking grocery store dom? :-P
I hate those self-checkout things. I usually get about three items in and it's whining that I've put something somewhere I shouldn't have, even though the item can't be put anywhere but where I put it. I couldn't even imagine trying a whole cart full. Seriously, you've got to be some kind of masochist, or very patient.
Heh.. Only place I've seen those self checkout things IRL is in our IKEA. I know there's a few supermarkets, mainly in Copenhagen, that uses it, but.. I haven't actually tried it.
I like it in IKEA though :) I just sorta feel bad for all the cashier people. It's always been a lousy paid job, but still better than NO job...

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
In the supermarket I visit, they have do-it your-self-scannning for a long time, and I just love it. No more waiting for the queues any more, and you see what you have to pay before you check-out, so can drop some things if you think the bill is too high, so you won't be surprised. The only thing I hate is when they want to control you, which never happens with two or three groceries, but only when you have an overloaded shoppingcart. grrrrrr.
Oh, and they don't use possettes or V4, just some text and a friendly voice to explain it.
-How can you improve things when you don't make mistakes?

Ditto what someone else said. Those aren't called "Fast" checkout lanes. They're called "Self" checkout lanes and they're for everyone.

I have no sympathy for checkout people anymore. I stopped using real checkers a long time ago because of these nifty inventions. No more do I have to stand in line behind Gabby McGabbsAlot as she and the Checkout Girl Gab about their latest soaps while I'm in a hurry to get home to tonight's episode of Star Gate Universe!!!
Stargate Universe (I've finally figured out) is trying to be Lost in outer space...;)
Yeah, I've seen Posette on the machine, it's been pointed out every year or so here...it is ironic that V4 is paying homage to the Posetteness herself...;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

I like the self check at some stores, where you can take as much through as you like. Avoid them if they limit the items you can take though or the space you have to put the scanned items. I also don't like using them if I have things without bar codes (like produce) or plants. If they've just been watered, they weigh more than expected and you get error messages.
