Subject: Poser 4 Export Option

i have one problem with Poser 4 if i export any figure in .3ds format file, and then import it in 3D Studio MAX(2.5), MAX shows error message "Improper file format" and doesn't load any meshes. Can anybody advice me the way to fix this problem ? Denis Todo

Well, a workaround is to export in obj format, then use habware to convert it to 3ds/max. Exports are a bit screwed up right now, they will hopefully be fixed in a patch soon.

I get the same thing sometimes importing OBJ's into Bryce 4 from Poser 4. They usually involve someone's hacked conforming clothing piece like Nerd's Taarawear boots. If there's a fix for that, I'll be looking forward to it :) TyggerBob
