Subject: Hair Tutorial...where are you?

OK, I am looking for a tutorial to learn how to create hair for Poser8 Ryan. I don't like the ones in the library and am feeling ambitious. I need longhair with a red stripe. Now I searched for hair tutorials and saw some "how to do hair in Photoshop"

Can I use Photoshop elements to do this?
Or is there an easy way to "make" hair in Poser itself? I thought I saw a tutorial on it, but when I searched I got the other ways (paint, photoshop, etc.)

Also...is there a way to change Ryan's eye color?

Thankies :)

depends on how you want to do it; you can either make an actual object (Wings, 3dsmax, etc., there's a lot of older ones there)

Check here in tutorials, Daz 3d, Runtime DNA, the usual suspects have tutorials in general.
The nice thing about hair is with a little tweaking, you can usually put any hair on anyone...

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Thanks pakled. I just can't fins hair I liked and the last time I tried to non-Simon hair on Simon, I wanted to pitch the computer through a window. I tried every bit of advice and never got it to work. So trying to conform, fit, morph or whatever...hair has not been a successful venture for me.

I tried to do hair to Ryan's skull cap by editing a created hair group and that....well totally sucked too. I know everyone says to get in there and play with it, but by the end of it I am afraid Ryan and I will both be without a hair on our heads!
