I have Poser 8, and I'm toying with the idea of buying at least some of the Daz K4 stuff but I heard a rumor they only work with Daz Studio. Is that true? If not, what are the headaches I can expect?

I have them and they work fine in P8

There is an issue with the toddler morph, it simply does not work well in Poser and DAZ has acknowledged that fact by releasing it for DAZ Studio only.  I have not heard any other problems regarding K4 content.

I have one K4/chibi product out now and another in pending here - and i've had no complaints that it does not work in Poser.
I use P7 and PP2010 and she works perfectly.

I have P8, the K4s are just OK, if you try to scale them the are not that good. Also they are no Body morphs. Not one of Daz best efforts.

You can integrate V4/M4 morphs by Frankensteining the K4's.  It is not perfect but it does work.

K4 works fine so far for me with P8.

You almost never use kids. Save your money and use the old kids.

They work in Poser 8 :) Except for the height morphs like the Toddler thing which is DS only.

Then you can send it all to me to help with the car repair bill I just suffered from this week. Oiy! My poor car! Overheated in this Texas heat and burned up the spark plugs, plug wires, thermostat and melted a hole in the radiator hose. OUCH!
