Rue McClanahan passed away today from a stroke at age 76.

Just another famous american actress David. Probably most well known from the TV series Golden Girls.

Israeli TV broadcast a few of the Golden Girls episodes, but not so that I'd bother to learn any of the actresses names.  Still, it's a pity that she's died, but such is the way of all flesh, and such is the fate that awaits each of us in our given time: Requiescat In Pace!

This was like her second major stroke over the past few years. She was making such headway  recovering from the last a shame the only one left now is Betty White.

OH! I'm so glad I'm not the only one to believe in that! 

It IS kinda scary. But it often holds true. Two of my mother's elderly friends has recently passed away and one more id dying.  Now that I've learned my mother may have terminal cancer herself I just hope it's the other one that is number three here (mean but I guess that's common.. the "rather you than me" set of mind)

On Topic, I've never heard of the Golden Girls, but it's always sad when someone you know and like, be it from TV, music or movies, passes away.
