Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 22 9:27 pm)
For the Dream Home series, the figures and props are dependent so that they will move into relative position within overall scheme (i.e.,you don't want kitchen to be in bedroom).
With Noir office, I think same applies. It is supposed to be part of some scheme, but readme doesn't say which.
What I have done is use the preset cameras that come with package to get POV close to desired, then note the new position of "Main Camera" (e.g., one is Z -1399 Y 1249.8 X -145.4) and move body of introduced figures relative to that.
The office has a relative position of a second story floor.
Not being totally familiar with Poser, because I am mostly a DAZ user
I think can you save the whole scene as a pz3 file . put it some where that makes sense to you.
Load all your props and save as a pz3 file and they should all reopen where you repositioned them.
In DAZ I just save as a scene..
I think this will work... it works for me

Hello all and once again hope your weekend is going well.
I have another poser question, but not even sure how to phrase it so that it makes sense, but here goes.
I am trying to make a Poser File that I can use over and over in different scenes for a series I’m working on.
I am using Film Noir Detective Office http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=38871&keyword=film
&keyword=film but am having one big problem with the set, which is something I’ve noticed with some of the DAZ sets such as the Dream House series as well.
When I load my set into my Poser window it is so far out of the frame that it is very hard to find and once I do it becomes a real pain to get the POV that I would like for the scene.
Anyway my question is this;
Can someone tell me the best way to reposition an object so that it is dead center in my scene the way most Characters, Props, & Objects appear when brought up in Poser?
This is a tricky question because it seems to be more then just adjusting the X,Y, & Z dials in poser.
Thanks much
