Not sure if this has been brought up before...

We have some folks here that are 10+ year members. A decade is a long time in Poser time.

My thought was to somehow identify these venerable members with a special 10 year icon placed below their avatar maybe...or something.

What does everyone think? And for the moderators, can this be done?

Maybe we could have a contest to design a logo for the 10 year veterans.   Something along the lines of:

Ten years wasted.
Poser ruined my life, my marriage and my bank balance.
A decade of addiction. 
It's official!  I really have no life.
You're all posers, I'm the real thing.

Or something like that.  ;)

There should be badges for 5,10,15, & eventually 20 years IMHO.

  Well I joined Renderosity twice- I lost my login and just created a new one some 11 years ago- and before that PoserForum Online (PFO). So I have officially had NO Life and been an addict since 1997-98 with Poser2.

  It does take it's toll! Woman don't get that it is a compliment when I comment on the lack of "poke through" on their evening gowns!  "Wow what a beautiful render you are! Are you using BB's VSS3 or is that just your makeup?" :-)

Yeah, there might be an element of "wasting" to having been involved for 10 plus years, but I guess I'm hooked.  Guess I fell in and can't get out!  But I'm not actually trying too hard.  Plus, even though I can draw, ink and paint actually quite well, I actually LIKE Poser - for the most part!

Yeah, I've been hanging around this place since about the end of 1998 or so myself...lol.

So, how do people generally celebrate their 'rosity-anniversaries? Huge party, all rendered in P4 with shadows turned off?

And yeah, there should be some indicator for those of us who have been here for the long haul. All that angst. All those fights. All those things people said they -really- hope are buried deep enough in the forums that no one will ever find it again.......

As another 10 years veteran (I joined in March 2000), I'm favor for a 10 year mark or icon. How about a mini-banner under our avatar picture?

Dreamspinner.... I remember that name! I wonder if "Ghost" still posts- Ghost made some cool vehicles for freestuff way back in the day. I changed my login name once as well- when I lost my password-but it was in 1999

in lieu of a medallion or seal of approval, I would setle for a modest cash award, oh, i dunno ....
