THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: TNPIR4000's enterprise bridge bryce model--where to find it?

brycetech ( ) posted Thu, 27 May 2010 at 8:40 AM · edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 3:26 PM

Im looking for tnpir4000's enterprise bridge model. I downloaded it from one of those trekmesh sites/scifi sites or some such place a while back and lost it. I've spent part of the morning trying to find where it was at and am not having any luck.

Does anyone know where it is at? Its simply some of the best bryce work out there and I wanted to show it to my neice who is breaking into 3d professionally.

thanx in advance

BT

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

plus a lot of gamer data that I just removed immediately...python scrips for animation etc...not large stuff but useless to a non gamer..final file was 95 M approx.

Here's a quickie from the Captain's Seat looking at the display screen with a map of Tycho galaxy I added. I made it ready in an app called PoseRay which is remarkably easy to correct things in and did I say free as well

btw..gonna confess..that's not bryce..its carrara. the only way I can get the screens to animate as intended is to convert the screens to avi and then load those in carrara as textures.  I have a really kewl animation of the screens changing and the red alert lights flashing. I had to do a slight bit of remapping to make things look better..and just a tad of texture tinkering.

also increased the poly counts of some of the models
and even redid a few of them because they were too "boxy"..but its a very nice model and one worthy of keeping on a dvd somewhere for future reference. (along with my darlek model from dr who)

Well that sorta worked out...you did much better on the renders based as much in familiarity with the sets. I have only sporadicly had t v in my world and am woefully uninformed on tons of modern culture...sigh...the maps were pretty good tho...were I to use the model I'd increase the polys on most everything.. ...

I don't know if the bridge you're looking for is here:
http://www.trekmeshes.ch/
But it's all about StarTrek!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I think I've found it!
Have a look here:

Scroll a bit down for the Star Trek stuff!

Yes...we've been there...but it's all renders and no hint of where the model can be dl'd from. The link I published above was what I came up with using the modeler's name [tnpir4000] and Enterprise Bridge.. ...

Great!
Fingers crossed that will work out! :-D

brycetech ( ) posted Wed, 16 June 2010 at 9:54 PM

as you can see..his startrek bryce models are insane. I had the bridge file...can not believe I didnt archive it on a dvd. now I can't find it.  The one above just doesnt do the justice to the brigde as his does...and to be 100% bryce is on the border of insanity.  They say there's a fine line between genius and insanity.

He may reconsider, but he's a pro and this may well be a part of some commercial venture which would account for his not giving it away to the community at large.. ...

thank you!!!
fwiw...if you all have time and want to see something really kewl, you should go to youtube and look up tnpir4000. He is doing a startrek movie and you can see these models in use. I havent gotten to see the past few updates because when I moved to this new house I had to get satellite internet...and it is one very small step from not having internet at all.  Until cable and phone will come to this new development, I have to wait for now.

thanx again!
