two tricks I would suggest: the first is that increasing the coverage function in the first (of two) blender of the ocean shader, you can simulate a sea storm at a distance (pretty good near the rocks, for example), the second is with shadow buffer on, you get water like that of swimming pools as in many tropical beaches, with appropriate lighting as well
