Hello,

I am not sure if this has bee asked before, but I could not find an answer in the forums. In my Poser 8 Parameter Dials window some of the numbers that are next to the dial themselves show up as set of double numbers. In the attached image you can see this happening for several of the face morphs shown. Sometimes all of the parameter dials have double numbers. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I am using Poser 8 SR3 but the problem has manifested in previous service releases also.

Thank you for any replies.

It's not a bug. It's a feature.

The top number is the cumulative value for that parameter, adding up all of the settings on all of the dials that control that part. This is especially useful if you have injected a character and then go in to make further adjustments

For example, if you set "chest built" to .5 in Full Body, then set it to .5 with the Chest part selected, the total morph you have created is "1" It helps to know what has already been done on other body parts so you don't wind up with problems "undoing" something later.

I find this extremely useful, and appreciate it being there. It tells you if you've already set something somewhere else.

Hi i think the image is missing. I think I already may know what you mean. In some case there is 1 main dial for lets say brows up/down next to you have almost the same dial for example Rbrow up/down and Lbrow up/down. The main dial controlls the setting of the group example brows, eyes etc etc while the sub dials give you control over individual left and right. If you post image we can look and help you more of course

Hello basicwiz,

Thanks for the explanation. I had thought that it was some kind of display error, but if it is for information purposes then I won't worry about it.
