Hello,

we have searched this forum for our recent Poser 8 problem but didn't found any clues.

Some days ago we got our SR3 for Poser 8 (8.0.3.11793). The installation worked fine but right now there is no chance to work with this issue and we returned to Poser 7.

Problem: The display was going to be strange. If we move our mouse-pointer outside the display - everything is fine, but moving the pointer into display frame the background is turning into deeply black and items of former sessions are visible and working in poser isn't possible anymore.

Anyone else in here that got's this problem or can share a link regarding this problem?

OS MS-Vista 64 bit, SP2
Intel C2 8500
8GB RAM
ATI 5870

Would be great.

Switch to SreeD preview mode and see if the problem goes away.

If it does, then you've got a graphics driver / settings / OpenGL problem, so give relevant details to see if anyone can help further.

You are right! Changing to SreeD fixed the problem.

Even though the problem solved there by updating the video driver is not exactly the same as yours it might help.

Hi madno2.

think this hits the bulls eye and poser 8 display is also running in OpenGL mode. After I have installed the newest ATI-drivers, we can use both display settings without getting troubles.

Reminds us to update the graphic drivers more often ;-).
