Subject: Poser Pro 2010 help please.

I've had poser pro for awhile now , it was working great. Now however it works great until i try to save a scene. i have tried even saving the scene as my default start up yet i get the same crash.
Poser freezes and windows pops up with its message of poser has encountered a problem and searches for a solution. Everything thing else works as normal. renders fine imports everything, just cant save my work.

Working on intel I7 with 16 gb ram , nvidia 9600 video card, hard drive has plenty space (1 tb ) avail.
windows 7 64 bit ,  fully updated with newest drivers. ran poser as admin , no change.

Any help is greatly Appreciated.

Have you tried rebooting the machine and/or deleting the preference files (which sometimes get corrupted)?
This usually solves this type of problem

I have tried removing all the user ini files and such suggested. Machine has been rebooted several times. Trying a fresh install of poser atm.
thank you for the reply.
Ive been going through smith micros faqs and tried submitting a ticket with no response as of yet.
any suggestions appreciated , i will try almost anything at this point :)

LibraryViews.xml, libraryprefs.xml and libraryState.xml may cause problems too.
If you reinstall be sure to clean your usersAppDataRoamingPoser Pro2.0 folder before you reinstall. This way you are sure that nothing there corrupts the new install

thank you, doing that now.

If the scene has DAZ3D Figures, make sure you uncheck Use External Binary Morphs, which will cause issues with scenes that contain DAZ3D Figures and Morphs. (Set in General Preferences on the Edit Menu of Windows and Preferences under the Poser Pro Menu on MAC)

I agree with ratscloset, "Use External Binary Morphs" is a common cause of problems.

I also agree with ratscloset.  I totally forgot about the "use external binary morph" thing. Having it "on" sometimes causes issues when saving a scene.
