Hello,
I am not 100% sure what is happening in your situation, but one common problem is non-unique material names. If you copy an object or materials, always rename the material to something unique (add a number for example). When materials have the same names, editing one can cause problems/changes in the others.

Kutter? Wasn't there something down in the swamps somewhere? Man, this is a surprise - you should have given a warning! Hi!
I think what you describe is a bug - the automatic copy of (eco-)materials goes wrong so that working on one influences the rest.
When you need a bit of help my friend, give me a word on Yahoo and we can do that "face to face".
One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.
Wow, hey Wabe! Nice to see a name such as yours pop up from the past!
It has been a while for sure, I been meaning to get back and up to date with Vue for years now, and I finally made the plunge.
Would love to speak soon!
Oh, and thanks for the post, looks like i'm still good at finding bugs in Vue! :)
Kutter.

Hi all,
I'm returning after a long time to Vue, and an all new version... I am new to eco systems, and although this has probably been covered, I seem unable to find the right search criteria to find a solution here on this forum.
Simply, I have 6 terrains and on each is a copy (with variations) of the same eco system. Sometimes while working on the eco system of one, another terrains eco system disappears, completely! 0 instances... And I didnt reset it! lol...
Anyone else having this issue, or able to shed some light on a way to 'lock' eco systems maybe?
Thanks in advance, Kutter.
