Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)

Subject: Know issue or just my luck? Is the Joint Editor broken in PP2010?

TrekkieGrrrl ( ) posted Wed, 14 July 2010 at 11:37 AM · edited Fri, 15 November 2024 at 12:45 AM

I've tried a few times now, and as soon as I even touch a joint zone with PP2010's joint editor, the whole thing scoots out into space, messing up the garment completely.

If I try the same thing in Poser 8, it works as expected.

Is this a known issue?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I don't think you're the only one who has reported this in Pro2010.  P8 does seem to work fine though.

I have the same problem, centre fall to the floor then you try to edit anything.

As I understand it’s happening then you use comma as decimal separator, change to . then using it or use an older version of poser. Will probably be fixed on the first update.

Ah so PP2010 is ALSO a victim of the Comma bug? Sheesh one should think they were getting fed up with fixing this...

Has anyone heard of the chances for a ServiceRelease for PP2010 before it's suddenly 2011?

Can only be answered with :-

Quote - Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

Which for programming means if you don't update your testing regime regressions like these will always reoccur.
