 Is it possible to export in Quick time Poser 8 figures with a transparent back ground. Why ? Because I would like to add other layers in the final movie using Final Cut express.

Not that I can find.  You may have to export with Poserfusion.  Yuck.

Not quicktime but you can render to image sequence with a file format that does alpha (tiff, png etc) and use that.
