Hi fellow Brycers.

We want to use sky pictures as background for our renders. Has anyone some pointers as how to handle that in the best way possible?

Thanks in advance and greetings to you all,

Willem and Madeleine

The Michaelangelo button automatically creates a 2D object the same ratio as the photo. If your sky photo is 800x600 then you get a 4x3 ratio object. You can then easily 3D scale till the image fills your camera.

Turn off cast receive and self shadows.Your sky won't block the sun or pick up shadows from other objects,
