Subject: converting 3d image,"old school"

does anyone know of any  software that will take a jpeg, gif, ect. and turn it  into one of those old school 3d images with the bluegrn and red  and needs those glasses to be seen?

nope but I'd be interested as well.. ..

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

I dunno if there are software..I'm sure there must be..
found this oldish tut on creating 3d effects.. graphicssoft.about.com/cs/photoshop/ht/3danaglyph.htm and somewhere in the past few posts.. I know I've added in a few more sites that i've found.
If anyone did it..i'd love to know if it works..
and where does one get glasses to see them??

here is another link..this time..some prof created a tut for grades 6-12..
sounds easy..and all done thru photoshop.. stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov/classroom/3d.shtml

yeah the glasses are the easy part, many ways to go about it, just need to make sure you have the correct color over the correct eye
i am going ot check out that link

but i am sure there is some software out there because on this site somewhere i think i saw someone who did it, and they mention the program. i just cant remember where i saw it

did a quick test- not fine tuned but indeed it works there is that depth.
