You are cordially invited to witness Ms Claire Victoria Handy and Mr Paul Anthony Bellamy ruin a beautiful relationship by getting married.

We decided to rush things along due to my dad's failing health.

We expect to see all of you at Rotherham Register Office at the above date and time.

Thank you all.

We've lived together for 6 years, have our son, Samuel, and another nipper on the way.  I don't really think marriage is going to change things dramatically.  

Our ideal would have been a goth themed wedding in Whitby but that's way out of the question at the moment, so we decided to go ahead so my Dad can have an "official" Daughter in Law.   Not even sure he'll be well enough to attend but he can at least have a laugh at the photos. :)

Not that I know of.  Bear in mind this is an almost completely secular country.  Marriage is regarded as "nice but irrelevant".

That will be a happy day for me as well, as #1 Son is returning from spending the Summer at my wife's folks' In Oregon on the 24th.  He turns 10 next week, so we are missing his Birthday....
