Hi all

Maybe i don't get it :-) - But i have purchased bryce 7.0 pro - in the create icons there are several dome-lights - which i have pressed in frantic, but nothing's happening. How do one go about using those - the documentation isn't much help as its the old 6.3 documentation - please help :-)

Regards
Arne Fjord

probably a bug. try to minimize b7 and then maximize it again. this worked in some versions of b7 beta. hilsen snorre

Some people also have had to  restart for these to work.

Yeah, I have to restart my computer for all the new lights types to start working. You should be fine once you do that.

--> Dyret - I have restartet - everything works now - If you bought the ordinary bryce in error, i think there is a 30-days refund at daz3d :-)

Oh wow - you just aren't lucky these days :- ( - I have just installed DAZ studio and discovered a new error. The little arrows on the side of the navigation pane stops functioning once in a while, and then they won't start to work until i have restartet the computer, the same goes for the new lighttypes, when i have one of these in the scene, sometimes i can't select it again, not with clicking upon it, nor with the selection pane in the buttom of the interface - damn...

I'm gonna buy the Pro version too. I figure if enough of us do that then the powers-that-be at DAZ will sit up and take notice,(if Bryce itself is lucrative) and maybe throw some more money into further development of Bryce. I think the HDRI-making feature in the Pro ver. is almost worth the price of admission alone.
DAZ has pulled off a small miracle here. Remodeling Bryce, with its ancient code must have been like remodeling the foundation, plumbing, wiring, and plaster of a beautiful old house without touching the siding, roof, or exterior. The things that made it feel homey and comfortable in the first place. They haven't messed with the beloved interface, just some of the guts. Bryce7 free addition sure beats Vue8 "Pioneer" as far as well-rounded features, and you can import your own content and models into Bryce.

*Agreed, the buzz & purchasing alone shows the patient nature of Brycers from the early years, and how they're willing to support their  old favorite.

My work flow is like swimming......once you've learned how, you never forget.

Will definately be buying the pro!!

Don't forget there is a brand new version of Daz Studio and you need to install it to work with the new Bryce 7.

3.1.1.73
