unfortunately, the c7pro manual (pdf file linked above) was not included on the 3dartist CD 017, nor was most of the content. I would suggest learning c7pro by examining and rendering the presets (scenes). almost nobody reads the manual, but that couldn't hurt, either.I like to do all those things, but I really most enjoy building models of structures and buildings and I like the challenge of texturing, lighting and putting them in a realistic environment. I find that Carrara has the tools to allow me to do that. I'm learning to animate scenes as well. I do most of my modeling in Wings; force of habit, but I also have Hexagon and Carrara is no slouch. I've produced a few models on request for folks using mostly other apps.

Can anyone point me in the direction of begining to learn Carrara.Got the 7 pro version from a mag,I am totally new to this prog.
