I finally joined Facebook.  I know, scandalous, isn't it.

I'm on there under my real name and currently without a photo, so you should know it's me, if you're inclined to add me as a friend.

Well, I wasn't expecting that. 

Facebook... urgh. Be prepared for the well-meaning to tag you in pictures, and your anonymity/privacy go down the gurgler... HATE Facebook, but it's a necessary evil for us.

I still haven't joined facebook.  I figure that by now it's so old and so many people are on it, why bother?

Yeah- I finally jonined to to last year just before christmas. There software sucks. But mostly I just post a few of my CG pictures.

As I bow my head in shame, I also joined a few weeks back.

My neice is just starting 3D work and I am giving her pointers with Vue and Poser, and had to go there to see her creations.  I also had her start a memebership here, but she being young is use to facebook, so I go just to check in on her.  My settings are so locked down, I don't get any notice except from her....but again,
 
......am ashamed and I am going to go put my head under a pillow....:-(  Sharen

awww, dont be.  The only reason I wont join is because of my brothers goofy g/f.  she is like crazy with that facebook and slaps my pictures on there.  I screamed at her, if I wanted it on there I would join. shes like well then JOIN. Im like... NO. I dont like you. hahaha.  I am mean.   I did get that other page, I forget what its called, havent been on there in almost a year.

For a long time, I refused. But once I joined.. I must admit I'm having a load of fun. Most of my colleagues are there, too and it's an easy way to share silly stories from our daily struggle among train passengers :)

I found a couple of old class mates as well, and a few long lost friends. And even quite a few from THIS place.

Lol same thing for me.  I got on about six months ago through peer pressure, and because I was out of town and wanted to stay in touch.  I haven't really used it though, but every once in a while some old friend will pop up and we can get in touch.

I got on and it drove me crazy...anyone seen the South Park episode about Facebook? I still get emails through Facebook even though I thought I stopped everything.

I've used facebook for the past year or so.. I love it for staying in contact with old high school freinds, and old work associates.

Face book, well my niece wanted me to join it so she could communicate with me.  I stated that is what e-mail is for.  Then she added, posting pictures and I stated that is what e-mail is for and she answered  how about communicating with other and I told her that is what Renderosity is for.  Jan

i joined about a year ago myself..it gets too personal in my opinion.
i would rather by ananymous, but its too late now....

anyway..its under daveso if anyone cares to look at me in real...and my family, and all is layed out right there for the world to see...although i did take myself off all the public stuff, AFAIK ... hard telling for sure with that place.

but everyone in the world must be on there.

the games are a total waste. I was caught on a couple of them until i thought about it...like what is the pojtn of this? and there was none...other than trying to get everyone to join on. it was taking away from what little life i have as it is.

Looks like a number of people have hunted me down over there. If you want a mafia wars thug, LMK, since I have over a 910 level character in the game.

I hardly play it anymore, but I can easily come thump on someone beating on you.
