back on topic, I got this in my email earlier from Smith Micro so it's definitely legit.

Although I already have my own copy & I paid a bit less than that when it was first released.

Got Poser 8 about 3 weeks ago with that deal and it came to $138+. Definately a very good deal(I did need my Poser 7 serial number to get it ).

Needed serial number? ... Hmmm, that would have been an upgrade.

This offer doesn't appear to be an upgrade but a first time purchase.

geep, I was mistaken. I thought it was the same deal but rechecked and it was the upgrade offer for previous version users.

Either way ...  upgrade or first time buy, it's a smokin' deal and I highly recommend it. 👍
But don't wait, offer expires in about one week. :sad:

I still have Poser 6 & 7 installed (for test purposes) ...
... but use Poser 8 extensively because of it's features.

Good luck downloading you purchase. I've been trying all night and get nothing but errors ("cannot read file") after an hour or so. I can't even reach the download page any more because of "server error"s. I'm quite frustrated now.
