Any idea how I can get rid of this error msg?
I have no idea why it's started happening..  been fine up til today and now all of a sudden I can't open png.s or jpg's in photoshop CS..

The files open fine in Paint and the "windows image viewer" so it shouldn't be the files being corrupted..

I'm starting to get very desperate for my daily PS-fix now  :S

Anybody had problems with this before?

I appreciate any help

are they "rgb" or "cmyk"?? can you open the files in a program other than "MS" stuf? try IrfanView ( http://www.irfanview.com/ ) and "re-save" it again as a PNG. retrocity

Somehow the problem has gone away..  didn't really do anything other than change the ammount of memory allocated to PS.. had it set at 90% and reduced it to 80%.. that seemed to fix it..

I mainly work with RGB's so I dunno if it would have been the same w CYMK's..

anyway, it seems to have sorted itself outbut will try that if it decides to come back :)
