Subject: Looking for Matching M4/V4 Retro Space Suits and Uniforms

ghoyle1 ( ) posted Mon, 30 August 2010 at 1:15 PM · edited Thu, 23 January 2025 at 8:28 AM

I'm looking for a matching set of M4/V4 retro-style space suits and/or science fiction uniforms. The male and female figures will be part of a spaceship crew, so I need to have them match. I could use some suggestions about this.

The M4 Ensign at http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/?item=7979 is a good example of the type of uniform I'm looking for; I've tried converting it over to V4 with WW, but I haven't had much luck so far. A skirted version, maybe with tights, would be great as well, but I don't think the creators are planning a female version.

As for spacesuits, chasfh's Starman http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=79854 is very close to what I want in an M4 spacesuit, but its companion the Spacegirl http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=77828 doesn't seem like it fits in with the style of the Starman; they wouldn't be part of the same crew, I think. I don't own the Starman, so I haven't tried converting it yet.

Using the M4/V4 Bodysuits would be an option, if I could find matching textures. As a last resort I could use some skins for M4/V4, if I could find some that looked retro enough, but I'd rather have actual clothing figures.

I would appreciate any suggestions or comments.

If you are willing to settle for M3/V3, BATLAB's Vintage Army (which looks like Soviet uniforms) along with motif's texture set works very nicely.

Those are very good suggestion, plus the prices are extremely reasonable. Thanks!
