Just went to the DAZ forum and there's an announcement that Beta 8.1.0.18 is out.  A list of fixes is in the forum thread.

Does anybody get any kind of email from Daz when there's a release?  I've never received one.  It's kind of got me upset.

If other people are getting release emails, can you post here and let me know?  If so, I'm guessing that somehow, I'm not on the distribution list or something and I'm sure that could be fixed.

when they release a non-beta isn't there normally a update announcement ?  But for Beta's its done in the forums.

@Xerxes0002 - I don't get notifications for non-beta releases either. I usually find out through the forums. They need to let their customers know when an update is released.

I never get update e-mails.  I learn about them through forums.

Glad to know I'm not the only one.

This forum used to be the only place I would learn about an update.  I now go and check the DAZ forum on a rare occasion as well.

Daz needs to send out an email to all the users that's specific about updates.  The other thing I notice is that you can't go to the Carrara page on DAZ and readily see what the latest version is.  Eovia had a page where you could see the latest release.

I have written them an email about it but I'm not very confident it will have any impact.
