Subject: Aging Victoria 4

I want to take some of my V4 figures and make them look older. I am using Poser 7. How do I go about this? I am using many variations of the V4 in an animated movie I'm working on, and some of these women need to be aged. (You can see the work-in-progress at http://evidenceofalostcity.com )

Thanks....D.N. Stuefloten

You could try using the "Old" morph that is in Morphs++ package

I guess I dont have the Morphs++ package. When I look under Pose/DAZ's Victoria4/MorphInjections I see only the Base morphs. I'll go over to DAZ and see what I find. Thanks!

Quote - I guess I dont have the Morphs++ package.......

That would explain why so many of your female characters appear to be just the same woman wearing different makeup.

Online Now!

DAZ also has an old folks morph pack for both V4 and M4.

You can also try the Markeplace here. There are quite  a few "Older" character packages. :)

Most of which need the morph packs to work.

Yes, but I'm stating if they get the morphs they have options. Should have explained myself better lol

Yes, I am.  Quite the expert at it, too.

Yes, you should have.

Ah-ha...I take it the ++morphs will automatically alter the shape of the face when I launch the figure? I was certainly getting tired of all the women looking so much alike...

*'*I'll look for them...thanks.

Actually, Morphs++ will provide you with dials when loaded to the character. You can then spin them to morph your character (Note that you will have to spin head morph dials separately from Full Body Morphs (FBMs)).

Alternately, after injecting your Morphs++, you can use the INJ poses that come with character packs to automatically apply the morphs. (Always check which morph packages you need before buying character morph packs. Some require the Muscles morphs and some require the Elite morphs, which are different products from the Morphs++)

The free basic V4 is not very useful, by design. Morphs++ is one of the "must-have" purchased add-ons that are the reasons Vicky is free. It's the same principle behind the sale of a piece of clothing for what seems like a very good price, and right next to it in the marketplace is a texture set that sometimes costs more than the clothing. The idea is to hook you with the free/cheap item so you have to buy more related stuff to really enjoy it. Basic marketing.

If you just use base V4 and nothing else, the only thing you can do is change her hair and makeup. I hope you're not using the low-res texture that came with free Vicky!
