trying to find a free wheel and tyre or just a tyre on its own to go on an off road vehicle.

There are two in freestuff that might do, and turbosquid has a few - search wheel

for some reason I cant paste into this edit box.

For noncommercial use there are a lot of vehicles here:
DMI car 3D models

You can take off the parts you need with most modeling programs.

Many are in Lightwave format (lwo) but it's pretty easy to convert most of them with PoseRay

Have located a rim and tire.

spent most of the day fitting them together lol thats an art in its self !!

No matter, learnt a lot on the way which is all good.
