Subject: military insignia wanted

I know about the handful of military wings props by Panko, as well as the Aviators wings and ribbons that come with CPs G2 careers Navy series. but I'm looking for a few insignias that aren't in any of those packs, does anyone know of anywhere I can find other military badge props for poser?
In particular I could use USAF aviators wings, USN surface warfare insignia, USN submarine warfare insignia, SEAL trident badge, or anything else like that.

Try contacting the vendor in that link.  The package isn't for sale anymore but you can ask if you can buy it privately or in exchange for a gift certificate to a store of their choice.

Dunno if this will help or not, but ages ago the erstwhile EDW made a set of shoulder and I think chest patches for the VP Jumpsuit.

Long since lost, until one kind customer sent me a copy. Which is now at the link above, if you play around with them they should work OK on most figures and clothing. Plus they might do the job you need.

Make your own. Should be easy as hell and you'll probably do a better job that anything you might have to buy.

If you could find some military insigna fonts, Carrara (often free on magazine cover discs) has a text tool which creates meshes. Type something in, select the object, reduce the depth and export as .OBJ.

As these are just one colour, you shouldn't need to UVmap them. But if you do, a quick box in the free version of UVmapper will do the trick.Either way Import that mesh into Poser, rescale and just apply a golden or silver reflective map. Now save the object as a prop.

Not every font works and properly built meshes (like those made by Panko) will always be better, but it can work.

You are looking for actual props right not just images?

You might try just modifying the existing textures and using displacement.
