As the last thread got massively sidetracked, and I'd like one even more now so pretty please with extra sprinkles on top ?

We have added the suggestion to our list and we will discuss it in more detail during our annual 2 day admin meeting where we discuss our goals for the coming year.

Thanks for the info StaceyG, I think it is a great suggestion - not that I have any one that I currently want to 'ignore' but I previously have had, so I fully understand and support FrankT on this one.

Don't suppose you guys have had your chat yet have you ??  My tongue is getting holes in it from being bitten so often

Apparently they have, and I asked in another thread (see attached link) whether we could get a status report on what's been requested.

if they've had the meeting, who is delegated to tell us the bad news?
but in case they're gonna implement it, have them do it so the ignoree gets a beep and a msg
that he's being ignored, like it works in chat rooms.
