Well, sorry to hear... (his wife posted his death on his 3rd to last image posted here in his gallery in April). Found it while browsing his gallery.  But in my opinion one of the best Bryce artists.  Ron died December 28th, 2009 of pulmonary fibrosis.  Loved his "Trains, Trout and Caramel apple" images.  RIP my friend, it was a pleasure to know you.

I remember seeing that trout picture and thought wow thats done in Bryce?

Here is the Link to the image and bottom is his wife's e-mail address.  I'm going to send my condolences.

Not only a great Bryce artist, but generous with his knowledge.  I'm so sorry not to have seen this sooner. He's missed.

Very sad news!!!

Ron was an amazing artist and I occasionally had exchanged site-mails with him until few years ago. He was a really nice chap! A big loss...!!

My thoughts are with him, his family and all his friends!

The bucket of trouts will always be my favorite. It has always been from 3DC days... RIP... You will be missed!
I hope you all take a good look at those renderings in the gallery. There will no more.
