 This past weekend (September 25), Philippe Bouyer and Christine Gray committed matrimony at Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.  :D :D :D

Yes. 

Phoul has indeed tied the knot. And the happy couple were indeed very happy (occasionally crossing the line into utterly 'cute', but I won't get into details..... ;) ). It was a lovely ceremony at a small, century plus old unexpanded church surrounded by downtown Charlotte. Nicholas Phelps was Philippe's best man (and a very nice gentleman he is, too), and of course both bride and groom were surrounded by those they work with (I got to meet Koby, Philippe's boss, and experienced Tweety, his bright yellow H3 Hummer with black leather interior and all the electronics). Christine is a lovely woman, and the two of them just....fit. 

Oh, and the official last names are Bouyer-Gray.

Amusing, I thought that in English you used the verb to commit only relating to crimes and suicides but, thinking about it, weddings use to belong to either of those categories (or even both in some cases).

I remember a wonderful ad from IKEA: "Save money on furniture, you will need it for the lawyer".

LOL.  I "commited" matrimony the middle of Ausgust myself!  :biggrin:  Thankfully she knew of my hobbies--or should I say obsessions--before clamping the shackle on me.  :lol:  Best peice of jewelry I ever wore!

Sure; I was so honored by Nicholas Phelps - e-onsoftware CO - being my best man. He so cool and so funny!
Coby Watts (my boss at Skyscraper3d) my groom man was the best close friend as well I could have there.
Ben Leveau (former developer at e-on software) honored me too for coming from London. What another buddy! And so talented photographer by the way!
I am so blessed knowing these guys.
Thanks to them...

Christine and I just came back from our honeymoon in Bachelor Gulch resort, CO.
Colorado is so beautiful; a fabulous source of landscaping inspiration... Smile
