Yup species selection in action! That's pretty good from a Mavica. It does not look like you used a flash and the picture appears pretty crisp. What mode were you using? I also own a MAVICA. Mabey I am doing something wrong because if I took that picture it would be pixelated. So telling me what mode you used would be a great help. I gather you did NOT use the portrait mode. Bsteph

Oh. No wonder. Even so. Wait a sec. I don't think mine has a macro setting. I'll have to take a look. Bsteph

Welcome to the realm of R'osity photography, pokeydots. I agree that this is a great place for us amateurs. I've gotten lots of good feedback on my images here. Beautiful shot, by the way! Animals always tend to run away from me before I get close enough. :-) Malenchite

Thanks everyone :) This is the first time something actually held still for me :) I like frogs, I collect em! (not real ones, though)Although at one time I was tempted to get a Pacman frog :)

The only thing I have ever used is PSP, I have PI now but haven't used it for pics yet. Anyone can have a go at the picture, just post your results so I can see :)
