Thanks Bobbystahr, I'll check that tonight.
There were four things to download (PC) including content and another for lightning. Two were huge files, I think a 500+ meg file and the other around 270 megs. When installing one of the large files wanted to replace/overwrite the previous large file installation. I did not allow, thinking I should first see what was installed before overwriting anything. Maybe that is the culprit. I'll check it out tonight after work.

Greetings all.
Okay, I've searched the boards a bit, but don't see a thread on this topic... comparing B6 to B7, which renders faster?
I've got an underwater scene, dark, murky with a structure. Volumetric atmosphere, a "cloud" (volumetric material), HDRI, standard AA, and in B6 it took 4 hours to render, where as B7 the same thing is taking several hours longer.
Has anyone posted a speed comparison? There was a lot of that going on when B6 was introduced. I haven't been around in a bit so I appologize for not seeing it if such a thread has been discussed already.
