Subject: Is It Faster To Generate An Animation File With Render To Screen Off

Is it faster to generate an animation file with the render preview window off? I usually can see the render as it taking place before it outputs a .png file. I am generating one .png file for each frame so am wondering if the process will go faster if I have the window that shows the render also not visible.

Might be tad faster to use the external renderer. Would be much faster to use rendercows, if you have another machine around.
