Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 25 12:38 pm)
There is nothing built into Poser that I am aware of, however, some operating systems have that feature built in. For example, in Windows2000 you can change the file list display options to either "Thumbnail" or "Preview" depending on which version of the file browser the program supports. Poser supports the version that uses the Thumbnail option. You can then see a thumbnail of the graphic file of your choice. Tom

OK I'm in the materials section of poser. I want to select a map for the P4 woman for example. I find a directory where some maps are stored. So the question is, is there a way to see an image preview of the maps in that directory so that I could choose the map I want without having to go through all the hassle of rendering the scene to see what kind of map was applied? When you have a lot of maps it's hard to remember all the names of them and what they look like. I just want to be able to select a map in Poser and be able to see a preview of it before I actually load it. All modern programs seem to have this feature. Is this feature included in Poser and I just haven't found it yet? Maybe I'm blind or something.
