Anyone know where I can get this kimono?

EDIT:  Found it. I checked the gallery and there it was!

Ooooo dynamic... I'm impressed. Keen to see what you do with this when you get it. Once I get my new machine I have promised myself to tackle dynamic clothing! This kimino looks lovely, too...

Dynamic is wonderful!  I absolutely love it! It is a bit tedious to work with sometimes, but the end results are so worth it.  I get miles more use from any of the dresses or skirts that have a hip group that I can run through the cloth room, than I normally would.

You will absolutely adore the cloth room!!! I just know it!!!

Thank you for your encouraging words, Acadia... hope you enjoy the kimono. I'm sure I will love the cloth room, once I get a bit more familiar with it. There are just so many fine artists that use it these days and a lot more help for it too than there once was.

Come to think of it, IIRC a lot of conforming cloth is said to convert to dynamic really well, particularly items by Fabiana and people of her calibre. And there's always Laurie's lovely clothing. {Musing}: wonder how MamoMamo's pieces for TY2 would convert?

Think we've created a monster

Yes, lots of conforming items can be used in the cloth room so long as they have a hip group.

Morphing Fantasy Dress has many more possibilities now.  Eveytime I load a dress, I check to see if it can be used in the cloth room before I fiddle with trying to pose it.

The extent of my cloth room experience is clothing, but you can do so much more in there than that.  Make flags wave, kites, drapes, table cloths, etc.  I just use it for robes and dresses/skirts.

I did ti many time, converts something with a hip into a dynamic item...is good and easy.

But the problem with the tutorials is that is long to do...

Tutorials would be incredible, coming from you, Fabiana.

I'd love to collaborate on one with you... I'm a pretty good editor. I was always terrible at maths, but loved English.

Of course, it IS more fun to do dynamic clothing, much more so than explaining it... 😄

Hi,

Yes that was Sshodan's Robes I used on that promo though the texture doen't come with them. The tutorial is very detailed for their use and are covered well. For the promo, I had to run through the simulation to drape it and fit the body a little better then made a morph and cleared the simulation. After that, did the normal dynamics and finally went over some areas with the morphing tool after the simulation. All in all, it took about 3ish hours for the setup before rendering.

It's a very impressive render!

Thank you :) She was one of my favorite characters when creating her and it transferred over to the promos lol. It really helped that everything that I wanted to pull off in them worked for me which doesn't always happen.
