It seems that I am always asking for help on this forum, but please forgive me, as I am only learning about Poser as I go.

Here is my current problem:

I have a T-Shirt that is "made" of a gray satin material.

I want to add a picture (.jpg) to the T-Shirt to make it look like it was printed onto it, while still keeping the satin look.  (The T-Shirt is a child's pajama shirt, btw). I have been able to fuse the image into the satin, but my problem is that it looks too dark.  Is it possible to get the image closer to its original colors, while still making it look as though it is a part of the satin?

If anyone could post an example screenshot of the materials layout, I think that may help me best.

I look forward to any responses.

In the meantime, I will continue to play around with this.

You could either just change the diffuse color in the PoserSurface to white and flood fill the image background with gray. Or change the diffuse color in the PoserSurface to white and add a blender node with mask and Simple_Color node.

The latter method will make it easier to change the overall T shirt color if required.

Just noticed that my Simple_Color node is set to gray, just set that darker to more resemble your image.

Yes yes YES!

Thank you so much! That works perfectly, and now I know a new materials technique :D

ohh thanks for that answer PhilC. I was kind of trying to do the same thing but on a car with a shiney glossy finish, it was ruining/ washing out the flame texture i made for it.  Thanks much
