Subject: First steps from Poser to After Effects...?

I'm currently working on a music project with a friend of mine and we want to do a video for one of our songs.  I'm thinking about using Poser to render out stills and/or short animations to use in After Effects.  Are the any pitfalls or tips I should be aware of when outputting for AE?

I generally use Tiff when rendering stills.  Is there any other format that works better with AE?

When rendering out an animation I usually render out Full Frames. Is that the best option for AE also?

Any help would be much appreciated.
