Subject: problem with saving characters

I've recantly had to re-install Poser4. (WIN98se)Since then, I've noticed that every time I render a character, then save to a character, pose, prop library, the rendered image flashes back to the preview state just before the image is saved in the library - previously, it was the rendered image that was saved - I must have some setting off, but I can't find where - any suggestions? Thanks!

Look at your settings: you want to have the character in near-preview mode (that's called "shaded render", I think) before you save it.

I have my default set to "texture shaded" - is that what you mean?

heyas; if you want to save a rendered thumbnail to the library, you have to paste it to the background, then move the figure out of camera view. poser never saved rendered images as thumbnails, unless you did this 'trick.'
