VERY very cool - shows (as if we didn't know already!) that Bryce and Poser belong together. Beats me why Corel hasn't snapped you up long ago, konan! I'm certain they could sell twice the number of Bryce packages, if only P2B was integrated into Bryce! Thanx for choosing the armor, BTW, although I have to admit that there's far more beautiful plate out there these days (BTW the sword sheath seems to have given you some trouble in the knight-and-dragon anim - the sheath's fully poseable, so you could mend this, if you want to improve on perfection).
Konan, two question if I may. I know it is stated that you were working on a Vue d'Esprit version. Will this be a separate version or will one version do it for Bryce and Vue? Also, are you planning to drop support for Bryce 4 or can we count on support for Bryce 4 staying for a bit? I already have Vue 4 and will update to Bryce 5 when Corel releases their patch (... maybe by Thanksgiving? Christmas?), but in the meantime I am still using Bryce 4 quite a bit. And with the many issues I am reading about Bryce 5 I guess I want to make sure that if all else fails I can always coount on Bryce 4. Take care.

Hey Casamerica, The Vue support will come in the form of export plug-ins, so the same Natural Pose program will be compatible with Bryce and Vue. As long as I support Natural Pose, I will support any export plug-in that I made for it, including Bryce 4, Bryce 5, upcoming Vue 3.1 and Vue 4 (if I make a Vue 4 plug-in). I understand what you are talking about as Bryce 5 is a little buggy. Give'em a chance to release an update or two and hopefully it will be as stable as Bryce 4. Konan p.s. My initial tests in Vue 3.1 are very encouraging. The rendering engine in Vue 3 is sweet!Konan, thanks for the quick reply. I've downloaded the demo and will play with it but I like the apparent way textures are handled by NP. One last question and I'll stop bugging you. Does NP have any of the same import problems with Michael and Vicki into Bryce that Bryce has on its own? I mean I've had eyes in foreheads, etc. Good for a remake of "Ulysses" I suppose. ;-)
Nope. Vicky and Michael work fine. There is an older Vicky animation on the gallery page and I am working on a new one as we speak. There is one tiny issue with the transparent layers around the eyes. The tend to get welded to the underlying layer and disturb the smoothing. There is a feature in NatPose to delete the transparent eye layers (or faces with any material) that fixes the problem completely. By the way, there is no need to stop bugging me. Ask me any question that you wish. You can email me directy if you like as well... konan_b@hotmail.com Konan

I wanted to let others know that I have used Konan's NP and had great success in transfering animations or single frames. Konan also supports the product promptly when you have questions. It only took minutes to put together the attached image and import it into bryce. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Our own cookies make user accounts and other features possible. Check out my latest animation from Poser 2 Bryce using Natural Pose. This one is a pair of dueling knights and it is over 300 frames long at 30 FPS.
