Just got "Harry A Real Man" from DAZ. He has three eye colors: blue, green and yellow. His eyes render fine but they don't preview correctly. The eyes look gray like in this preview image. Is there something that I can do to fix this?

Any way, this just can't be right so I'm also going to write to DAZ support about it. Mainly wondering if there's something that I can do in case DAZ support doesn't have an answer.

Thanks in advance,
Dkal

If it renders ok, why worry about it ?
It might be down to some combination of nodes that don't show their effect until render time

there is a material zone called "7_EyeSurface" that is probably giving that effect in preview.

You may be able to adjust it out with preview settings, but if it renders OK, not worth worrying about

I had serious problems with this product: DAZ borked the initial release by failing to include a lot of the textures.

It wasn't helpful when they told me that it worked OK for them so there was no problem. But they have fixed it now: check your available downloads.

Thanks, all.

Yeah, cspear. I just downloaded Harry for the third time and now seem to have all of the textures. The installation "seemed" to finish up okay but gave me a weird error message. Said something about "parsing" and to "try single-quoting" it. This was obviously an error message meant for the programmer who put together the installer, not for me.

Any way, I've waited 4 days now for DAZ to give me the solution. I'm glad that I finally have him though. Harry is a wonderful character because he's so "real" meaning he looks like just an average kind of guy, not some kind of athlete or super-model.

Love the worker's tans, don't you?
