Subject: Captured: America in Color from 1939-1943

A few photos I had seen, and many I never have. I like how people didn't force smiles for the camera as much as they do these days. Of course, those were some tough times. I recommend you take time to savour the little details.

This gives a hint of film subtle nature possibly missed in digital...or maybe the film is missing something, I don't kbow which.  It is like comparing video tape to movie film. Film has a quality I cannot identify but do like.

 

Views of  life like this are fascinating and sometimes drawing.
