Do you fuys think it is possible to convert video to HDRI LOOK wise. I know all about 32 bits of blah blah blah in an HDR. I just wonder if it can be done to "look" like HDR photography like  this.

I'm not sure if you can take a 8 or 16 bit image and give it an hdr range (32 bit)

The link above may be helpful in understanding it.

He pushed the rgb vaules beyond thier range in the color picker... then used the "curves" graph to modify the image (it was just a gradient) but it  might be able to be done with another image.

Maybe using the "Merge to HDR" in PhotoShop CS2 (or higher I suspect) might work.

I'd be interested to play with this a bit but I'm doing a heavy render right now.

Anyway...the tutorial is worth watching.

Hope this helps.

Crap...I just notice you said "Video" (Not a still image)...hmmm

This one might help.

I realize this one isn't exactly what you're looking for but it may give you some ideas.

I literally spent the entire day yesterday from 6 am to 545 pm till my wife made me go to the theater to see Harry Potter (great movie) watching this guys tutorials. LOVE EM.

I generally handle the photography in the house, my wife generally does the videos, but I think I found a new hobby LOL

Yeah...I've spent tons of time watching them too...lol

I'm still on Version 7, So I'm not sure what your delay problem could be.
