Attached Link: Poser File Format Internals

Here's a good URL to get you started: http://www2.crosswinds.net/chicago/~vladt/poser/P3-Int.htm This is Kevin Rose' site. -Jeff H.

Watch this one, it's really out of date. Half the links are dead and take you to a credit card advertisement. One of the links is mine, and has an email address I haven't used in over a year.

Do you have a new site? -JH.

This is the one that works: http://www2.crosswinds.net/chicago/~vladt/poser/cr2-frame.htm

As the pages say, they are not exactly complete or terribly well organized. But I think there is highly useful data provided that is rather difficult to find elsewhere.

Haven't got a new homepage yet (but the information I mentioned is my article, on someone elses homepage). But my new email (as of today) is wiz@netfrog.net

You write:- > 582 keys //Don't really know what this does. > 584.{ > 585.static 0 > 586.k 0 0 > 587.} The "keys" sections have more varied forms in animated .PZ3 files.

Kevin ( ) posted Thu, 28 October 1999 at 9:53 AM

That's interesting. I have not really looked at how the cr2 looks when wrapped in a pz3. And I don't do animations, so I have never seen that. Do you have more details as to what it does?

Anthony Appleyard ( ) posted Fri, 29 October 1999 at 1:56 AM

Do you have more details as to what keys{...} does? No. pz3 format is much like cr2 format, plus sections about lights and cameras, and everything is in one big tree of parts with "UNIVERSE" as its root part.
