Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 06 7:01 am)
It also says : IMPORTANT NOTICE: The INJ morph files generated by this script MAY NOT BE DISTRIBUTED if they are generated, in whole or in part, from the copyrighted DAZ morphs!
Does that mean that if I used the Morphs++ I cannot distribute the INJ files? So I have to use like magnets or whatever to create the morph instead? Or the face room whatever?? How annoying, I am no good at using the inbuilt face morphs on poser
Ok I sent you an email for a different post you did, but just to let you know you can distribute morphs just not with that script apparently, not sure of any other scripts to create morphs for you, I just make them myself in cr2editor and trust me I've only been doing this for about a year and half, (I joined Rendo before I actually owned Poser and knew nothing then) and now I know stuff because of this wonderful site and it's forum's. But anyway, the cr2editor, morphmanager, Poserz Little Helper 6, and UVMapper are essential making morphs. I know, UvMapper? you say, well it turns out some modelers like Wings3D, Hexagon and even Poser itself export the models either without it's UVmap, it's material zones, or it's groups (which is bad) so I use UVMapper to export the Uv's of the original obj and then open the morphed obj and import the Uv and walah! You got the uvmap, materials and the groups back! :D Well I'm blabbing, sorry... just love Poser! Anyways feel free to message me if I can help you. Have a nice day
There's nothing unusual about that restriction notice, you have always had to make sure that custom morphs don't include a portion of anybody else's morph data if they are for distribution.
The correct way for morphs that you didn't create to be used by a character is via a set of dial settings (these are usually incorporated into the INJ pose).
This is what utilities like IPB and IPM do.

Unfortunately I used to have IPB but there has not been an update for.. well ever I think and my computer doesn't have the classic environment needed to run it anymore. Who create IPB by the way? Does anyone know if there has been or ever will be an update? I think maybe I asked this ages ago and people just said there hasn't ever been one. Subtle hint maybe to the person who made it, to possibly do one.. :)

Ok, I have Poser 7 am running a Mac with system 10.5.8 and I want to know how to create INJ/REM files that I can distribute for a character. IPB doesn't work on my computer as I do not have the right system and I don't have a "classic" environment. I remember someone said there was a Python script but I can't remember what it was or where it was. I have had to reinstall everything on my computer so I lost everything in Poser as well - so if someone knows what I can use please let me know. I'm sorry if I have asked this a million times, I promise this will be the last one :)
