I thought I would post here as this comes along.

I wanted to model and render a Stylized starfish with holes in it and some ovuals that look somewhat engulfed as if growing as part of the starfish.

I modeled the starfish main body with zbrush.

Then Import to Vue 9 Complete, used Vue sphere and torus for ovuals.

This is just an untextured screen shot.

I'll be using displacement texures in Vue on the main body.

And possably a glow material on the ovuals.

looks pretty cool already, any story behind it?

Not so much a story as a followup to an earlier post I did a couple of weeks ago called "Stuck in always getting ready to make art mode" I'll include a link to that thread here above your comment.

I'm trying to be more about the doing of the art by Project Based Learning.

And less about getting ready to do art.

I'll call it done so I can move on to the next project.

Learned more stuff on this one.
