I was wondering if the Ozone 4.0 program/plug-in can be used along with Vue? Or is it meant only for 3ds Max, Maya, XSI, Lightwave and Cinema4D?

AFAIK, Ozone is for getting the atmospheres etc. that Vue provides into other programs, so if you have Vue there is no need for it unless you want to integrate with other software, and can't afford / don't want the "full hit" that XStream provides.

That is correct...If you don't have 3ds Max, Maya, XSI, Lightwave or Cinema4D...You do not need Ozone.

By the way: You can't use Ozone with the actual Cinema 4D version 12. I think the last version it worked with was C4D Version 10.5.

Also the atmophere capabilities are outdated. Ozone 4 uses the features of Vue7. Seems e-on is not keeping it up to date any longer.
