Subject: where to begin ? custom figure textures ????

this is an appeal to anyone that might be able to put together a tutorial from the beginners starting point on creating new textures from a uv map. either for clothing of for figure skins . im lost ans could use a nudge in the right direction . or if you know of an existing tutorial please point me in the right direction

BTSculptor has then in his store here - this is how I learned.  The most instructive one is #3, for the Unimesh characters.
