Subject: OT: www.e-onsoftware.com not displaying right.

Anybody else been having a problem viewing  www.e-onsoftware.com ?

When I go to www.e-onsoftware.com

I get a long string of maybe 50 links. I have to scroll down 3 page lengths past the links to get to the pages graphics which are not quite right either.

I'm seeing things like garbled graphics and links sprawling all over. I mean it looks like bad HTML as if a child was trying to make a web page.

Problem is with all my browsers on a win 7 and on an xp machine.
Been bad for many months now.

its fine for me, my guess would be that somehow you are blocking the css file for that site somewhere?

are you using the same antivirus/web detection whatever jobby on both pcs, maybe thats where the problem lies.

Who knows.

Thanks for chiming in Rich

I had not thought of that. I use AVG Anti-virus. It is on both comps. So that makes sense.
So I gave disabling my anti-virus a shot.
Did not help

E-on is the only site I have this problem with.

But thanks anyway.

Both e-on and Cornucopia3D sites have been hit or miss for me since my Vue 5 days.  I've lived with it.  They really do need someone to fix those sites.

Problem solved.

I got a new wireless connection to the web. I'm one the first in my region to get hookedup ( I'm in a rural area) Choices have been "dial up" or crappy overpriced Satalite at $80.00 per month and also horrilby slow on secure sites like banking, paypal or ebay. Plus  could not stream anything. and limited to 450mb in 24 hours(exceed and you're throddeled back to dailup speed for 24 hours)

Finally Got rid of Huges net sattalite connection:) yahoo! bye bye to 6 years of slow horribleness, the worst support and on and off connectibility. Once it shut off for 12 hours.

Something about that old connection (maybe the .5 second lag) latency was causing the E-on site to show up poorly.

As soon as I got my new connection yesterday it straitened right up.

Now I'm $50.00 a month USD, Still high but better than $80.00

Much better, faster and cheaper. This might spoil me.

I've had huge problems with the Cornucopia site for other than downloading purchased items. Almost predictably I would get an "error 503" when trying to upload e.g. a picture.

I have an OK wireless connection and I use Firefox mainly, but in frustration I installed Opera last week, just to try something else - and it worked! So now I can post again:)

They do need to rewamp their web funcionallity though, as ShawnDriscoll says.
